AWE Portfolio

Portfolio sessions will be held on Mondays for a mix of middle school and high school students. Tuesdays are only for high school students. Wednesdays and Thursdays are only for middle school students. Each is a two-hour class from 4-6 pm. A limit of 16 students can enroll in each session. AWE PORTFOLIO will follow all the necessary protocols to keep the students and staff safe. Each student will have their own tools and materials at their own table. Plexiglass is in between a facing table and students are 6 feet apart. All students will be required to wear a mask and have their temperatures taken before entering the AWE studio. Remote classes may be offered on Tuesdays for middle school students if there is enough interest.

AWE PORTFOLIO is for making art to be used in a student’s portfolio in preparation for admittance to NYC art high schools. It is also perfect for high school students working on college portfolios or developing individual styles, skills and techniques. AWE PORTFOLIO has two consecutive sessions from September until December. The sessions will be held on Mondays for middle school and high school, Tuesdays for only high school, Wednesdays and Thursdays for only middle school. Attention and direction is given to each student’s specific needs, skills and interests. By the end of AWE PORTFOLIO, students should have a portfolio that is complete and represents them as young artists. More information is on the AWE PORTFOLIO Sessions page.
